In July 2021 my life was mapped out and I threw away the blueprint. I left a comfortable job and accepted an amazing offer for an opportunity I new would push me beyond my comfort zone. I ending a seven year relationship with a wonderful man, and I moved into an apartment with nothing but my cat, clothes, and one dresser. I’d never lived alone before. I was terrified, but trusted my gut.
In that year I learned more than I thought possible about myself, my industry, and what it means to build a community. I’ve never been happier or more comfortable in my own skin, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds in the next 365 days.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me evolve professionally and personally. If you’re at a fork in the road, I hope reading this gives you the push you need to see just how much can change in one year.
